All About EDF
For more than eleven years, Elite Dance Force--owned by Misty Robbins--has built a reputation as one of the finest junior competition dance teams in Utah. Dancers from EDF have performed with Odyssey Dance Theatre in productions such as Thriller, Joy to the World, and Shut Up and Dance; with Ballet West's The Nutcracker; at NBA, WNBA and local college halftimes; on college and professional teams across the nation; and in movies, such as High School Musical II.
After countless trophies, overall titles, studio and director of the year awards, and more, Misty realized that she wanted to refocus the direction of EDF, and thus, PROJECT EDF was born.
The new emphasis at EDF is on dance education, and thus, the entire program has been totally revamped. We are so excited about our highly trained staff, coming on board beginning Summer 2007. We will be offering a large variety of different classes, and students are allowed to take as few or as many as they want. Classes include ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, tap and cheer.
Auditions for EDF teams have been held. We will be offering open classes year round!
Elite Dance Force offers classes for children and young adults in tap, hip hop, cheer, lyrical, ballet, modern, and jazz.
